Dennis Henderson, a longtime employee of this company passed away this past week at Lynchburg General Hospital after a battle with cancer. Dennis was a Master Electrician and project foreman with J B Moore Electric for well over twenty-five years. Dennis had retired at age 65 earlier this year. Prior to his working with J B Moore, he had worked at Mays Electric Company and Hickey Electric.  

I remember working with him in one of the company’s largest jobs dating back to 2005. We were close to completing all the electrical work for Range 16 at Fort Pickett, Va. He was assigned the task of tagging and identifying all the fiber optic terminations for all target sites. This was a monumental job with over 1600 sites and several square miles. When he finished, everything was tested and checked without any errors or failures.   

Dennis was one of the most reliable employees this company had. He will be missed by all of us who know him. 

She will be replacing Cathie Eagle, who is moving to Oklahoma in September. Christina brings over 15 years of experience in management to our company. She was previously the Account Manager for ABM for 7 years. We will miss Cathie and all she has done for the company for the past eight years. We look forward to what Christina’s skills and experience will bring to our company.
